Effect of Different Blood Transfusion Methods on Immune Function and Prognosis ofPatients with Gastric Cancer During Perioperative Period

Objective To analyze the influence of different blood transfusion methods on immune function and prognosis of patients with gastric cancer during perioperative period.Methods 62 cases of gastric cancer patients were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into 2 groups according to the difference of blood transfusion methods.Among them,31 patients in the control group were treated with allogeneic blood transfusion,and 31 patients in the study group were treated with autologous blood transfusion.Results The perioperative related indexes in the study group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in inflammatory indexes between the 2 groups before operation(P>0.05),but the inflammatory indexes in the study group were higher than those of the control group after operation(P<0.05).There was no difference in immune cell indexes between the 2 groups before operation(P>0.05),but the immune cell indexes in the study group were higher than those of the control group after operation(P<0.05).1 year after operation,there was no difference in survival rates between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with allogeneic blood transfusion,autologous blood transfusion has less influence on immune function of patients with gastric cancer.It can significantly accelerate the recovery rate of patients without changing the long-term prognosis of patients,which is worthy of clinical application.
