| Abstract: | Objective:To compare the prognosis of immediate implantation between patients with and without T2DM,and to explore the possible factors which may affect the clinical outcome.Methods:Clinical data of 156 patients who received 185 immediate implants placement were collected,the patients were divided T2DM group(21 cases with 24 implants)and normal blood glucose control group(135 cases with 161 implants).The blood glucose status,marginal bone loss(MBL),implantsation success rate and the incidence of complications between the 2 groups were compared.The effects of multiple factors were analyzed.Results:There was no significant difference between T2DM group and control group in MBL(P>0.05).Soft tissue level implant showed lower MBL(P<0.05).Conclusion:T2DM patients may get ideal prognosis of immediate implantation when blood glucose was controlled.Using soft tissue level implant may ameliorate clinical outcome. |
