Application of value tree model in establishing functional offices′ performance objectives

The establishing of functional offices′ performance objectives is the basis of performance management in hospital. In view of the complexity and characteristics of functional offices′ work, the application of appropriate management tools is the key to establish effective functional offices′ performance objectives. It has become possible to make performance management and hospital development in harmony by using value tree model. Based on application examples in Beijing Tongren Hospital, this thesis describes the methods and procedures of establishing functional offices′ performance objectives by using value tree model, and analyzes the advantage of applications.
