| Abstract: | Objective:To explore the functional operation,which not only completely cure the trigeminal neuralgia,but also keep the physiological function of the trigeminal nerve.Method:112 cases with trigeminal neuralgia,including 15 cases with cerebellopontile angle tumors,have been operated with vascular decompression and splitting of nerve roots.Results:All cases were cured,and kept the physiological function.Followed up 3 months to 3 years,the cure rate was 100%.Responsible vessels were found in 91 cases,the 106 roots entry zone of trigeminal nerve were pressed.Conclusions:The vascular decompression and splitting is the satisfying functional operation to the trigeminal neuralgia.Using the fibrous light bunch is beneficial to the discovery of responsible vessel.Doing better with the petrosal vein will increase the successful rate of operation. |
