Abstract: | Summary ACE inhibitors and diuretics should be used in combination in the majority of patients with clinical congestive heart failure. The broad spectrum of heart failure should include the phase of significant left ventricular dysfunction without overt clinical heart failure for which ACE inhibitor treatment alone may be beneficial in selected cases. |
