| Abstract: | In this study, scrum IgG, IgA and IgM levels were determined in 145 term pregnant women and compared with thoss of 14 severe PIH patients.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups.Serum IgG levels of term pregnant women were lower than thos^ of adults and no difference of sc-rum IgA and IgM levels was observed between them.Serum immunoglobu-lin levels of term pregnant woman were not related to tha weeks of gestation and the number of pregnancies(P>0.05).It is suggested that because of higher immu-nologic function in young adults, the delivery age should not be too late so as to enhance the immunologic function of newborn infants. |
