Abstract:	Background delayed gastric emptying is detectable in 20–40% of patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The prevalence of symptoms suggestive for diabetic gastroparesis is much lower. The aim of the study was to evaluate the gastric emptying and to correlate the results with dyspeptic symptoms.
