| Abstract: | Objective To explore the relationship between the liver fibrosis scales of B-ultrasound and the serological indicators of advanced schistosomiasis liver fibrosis. Methods A total of 334 advanced schistosomiasis cases were classified by ultrasonic evidences, portal vein diameter and ascites were measured by B-ultrasound and serological indicators of liver fibrosis including serum hyaluronic acid （HA）, laminin （LN）, Ⅲ procollagen （PC-Ⅲ）, Ⅳcollagen （Ⅳ-C） were detected. Results There is a consistency relationship between ultrasonic evidences （including the classifications of liver fibrosis, the diameter of portal vein as well as the degree of ascites） and serological indicators in advanced schistosomiasis patients. Conclusion Ultrasonic examination can reflect the severity of liver fibrosis. It can be treated as a non-invasive detecting method for the diagnosis of advanced schistosomiasis. |
