广州某医学院医学生吸烟相关知识·态度·行为

目的了解医学生有关吸烟的知识、态度与行为,为开展控烟工作提供依据.方法用自行设计的问卷对广州市某医学院一～三年级学生1 726人进行调查,内容包括吸烟情况、吸烟认知和态度.结果 1 726名医学生中,尝试吸烟率为22.7%,男生为35.2%,女生为11.1%;每日吸烟率为0.8%,男生为1.4%,女生为0.2%;平均尝试吸烟年龄为11.3岁.90%以上的医学生认为吸烟能引起气管炎、肺癌等呼吸系统疾病,对烟草中含有尼古丁和烟焦油的知晓率分别为94.1%和91.8%,90%以上的医学生认为吸烟、被动吸烟对健康有害,75.7%的学生认为医疗卫生人员应带头不吸烟.结论医学生中仍有部分人对吸烟与健康的关系缺乏正确认识,有必要在医学院校开展健康教育活动,以提高他们对吸烟与健康的认识.

An investigation on knowledge, attitude and practice related to smoking among medical students

Objective To know the knowledge, attitude and practice about smoking for medical college students, and to provide basis for anti-smoking. Methods A survey was conducted among the first, second and third grade medical students of a university in Guangzhou with a self-administered questionnaire including smoking related knowledge, attitude and practice. Results Of 1 726 investigated medical students, 22.7% ever attempted to smoke, 35.2% for male and 11.1%for female. The prevalence of daily smoking among the subjects was 0.8% (1.4%for male and 0.2% for female ). The mean age of beginning smoking was 11.3 years. Over 90% of them agreed that smoking could cause respiratory system diseases, such as trachetis and lung cancer. About 94.1% and 91.8% of the investigated students knew that cigarette contains nicotine and tar. Over 90% of the surveyed medical students realized that both smoking and passive smoking were harmful to health. 75.7% of them said that health care workers should be model for not smoking. Conclusion Some of the investigated students are lack of correct understanding about smoking and health. Therefore, it is necessary to make a special anti-smoking program among medical students for improving their cognition on smoking and health.
