Based on the discussion of children’s physique and epidemic by doctors of the past dynasties, the etiology, pathogenesis and corresponding treatment methods of children’s epidemic are discussed. The treatment should be based on eliminating the evils and strengthening vital Qi, and correspondingly give the methods of eliminating wind, clearing heat, and eliminating dampness, so that the vital Qi can be restored and the evils can be calmed down.
