A Meta Analysis of Poria and Cinnamon Twig and Atractylodes Macrocephala and Licorice Decoction Combined with Ginseng and Aconite Decoction in the Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure

Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Poria and Cinnamon Twig and Atractylodes Macrocephala and Licorice Decoction combined with Ginseng and Aconite Decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure.Methods:The literature included in PubMed,CNKI,Wanfang and other databases from the establishment of the database to December 1,2020 were searched,the relevant literature was screened.The quality of the included literature was evaluated by using the modified Jadad score scale and the bias risk assessment tool provided in Cochrane system evaluator manual 5.1.0,the data were extracted,and a Meta-analysis was carried out by using Review Manger 5.3 software.Results:A total of 14 articles were included in this study,including 1,440 patients.Compared with the control group,Poria and Cinnamon Twig and Atractylodes Macrocephala and Licorice Decoction combined with Ginseng and Aconite Decoction could significantly improve the curative effect of patients with chronic heart failureOR=4.98,95%CI(3.23,7.66),P<0.01].Left ventricular ejection fraction increased significantlyWMD=7.84,95%CI(5.99,9.70),P<0.01].The serum levels of N-Terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)SMD=-8.76,95%CI(-11.33,-6.19),P<0.01]and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)SMD=-2.85,95%CI(-4.51,-1.19),P<0.01]were significantly reduced.Conclusion:Poria and Cinnamon Twig and Atractylodes Macrocephala and Licorice Decoction combined with Ginseng and Aconite Decoction are exactly effective in the treatment of chronic heart failure with few adverse reactions,but the quality of the included literature is not high.Therefore,the randomized controlled trials with more rigorous design and larger sample size should be adopted in the future to provide higher quality evidence.
