| Abstract: | The author, through his professional experience, shares his thoughts on “psychiatric truth” supposed to inform the judge on “judicial truth”. He discusses five key issues: impartiality of the expert psychiatrist, deposing an expert, insanity defense, credibility of the accused, assessing the accused's future dangerousness. |
