Abstract:The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between hours of television watched per week and eye-hand coordination among preschool children in a middle class suburb. Other variables included home arts and crafts activities, I.Q., age, and preschool experience. Significant negative relationships were found between hours of television watched and eye-hand coordination as well as the number of home crafts. Significant positive relationships were found linking both home crafts and nursery school experience to increased eye-hand age. Nursery school experience was also significantly related to I .Q.
