| Abstract: | The peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets were studied by using monoclonal antibodies in 16 patients with autoimmune hemolytic anemia ( AIHA ). As compared with the normal controls, the patients showed a markedly decrease in the mean percentage and absolute value of T3 and T8.An increased T4/T8 ratio was found in 6/16 ( 37.5% ) patients. The significance of abnormal distribution of T cell subsets in the pathogonesis of AIHA is discussed. |
