| Abstract: | Therty-two cases of spleen trauma were evaluated by real-time ultrasound. The ultrasonographic characteristics of three types of lienic rupture (the true, the central and the subcapsular)were discussed in detail. The causes of misdiagnosis and nondiagnosis were analysed. We find that realtime ultrasound is an important diagnostic tool for spleen trauma and very helpful for clinical use. |
