| Abstract: | In order to improve the awareness, the article initially discusses several important relationship in hospital information system construction: input and output; system benefits and local benefits; width and depth of utilization of information; data collection and utilization of information; sharing information and safety; software and hardware; technology and management. A correct understanding and handling these relationships is significant in planning, implementing, operating and maintaining hospital information system as well as the system's benefits evaluation etc. |
