Analysis of the influencing factors of disposable plasma-separation of leukocyte-depleted whole blood

Objective To analyze the influencing factors of disposable plasma-separation of leukocytedepleted whole blood. Methods 200 bags of leukocyte-depleted whole blood of disposable plasma-separation were set as the observation group, and then 200 bags of leukocyte-depleted whole blood of non-disposable plasmaseparation during the same period were selected as the control group. The factors influencing the disposable plasma-separation of leukocyte-depleted whole blood were analyzed. Results In the observation group, the percentages of blood storage time <12 h, blood size of 300 ml/bag, air discharge mode of retaining about 8 ml,blood collection season of winter, strict compliance with the preparation procedure, and centrifugation for 12 min were 84.00%, 74.00%, 63.50%, 69.00%, 92.50%, and 86.00%, respectively, which were higher than 51.50%,41.00%, 34.00%, 38.00%, 54.50%, and 57.00% in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the age of blood collectors between the two groups(P>0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that blood storage time, blood specifications, air discharge mode, and blood collection season were independent influencing factors for the disposable plasma-separation of leukocyte-depleted whole blood(OR=5.539, 5.526, 6.859, 7.834, P<0.05). Conclusion Blood storage time, blood specification, air discharge mode and blood collection season are the independent influencing factors of disposable plasma-separation of leukocyte-depleted whole blood. The influencing factors can be effectively prevented, so as to improve the disposable plasma-separation rate of leukocyte-depleted whole blood, improve the work efficiency and provide a reliable reference basis for whole blood preparation, which is worthy of wide promotion and use.
