Value of rehabilitation nursing on pulmonary function and quality of life of patients after lung cancer surgery

Objective To discuss the value of rehabilitation nursing on pulmonary function and quality of life of patients after lung cancer surgery.Methods A total of 60 patients undergoing lung cancer surgery were divided into conventional nursing group and rehabilitation nursing group by random numerical table,with 30 cases in each group.The conventional nursing group received conventional nursing after surgery,and the rehabilitation nursing group received rehabilitation nursing after surgery.The pulmonary function and quality of life before and after nursing,satisfaction,off-bed activity time,hospitalization time,and complication rates were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the forced expiratory volume in the 1st second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF),and 36-item short-form health survey(SF-36)scores were significantly higher than those of this group before nursing;the FEV1(2.73±0.34)L,PEF(5.77±1.11)L/s,and SF-36 score(93.21±3.21)points of the rehabilitation nursing group were higher than(2.45±0.24)L,(4.51±1.01)L/s,and(82.25±3.01)points of the conventional nursing group;all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of the rehabilitation nursing group was 100.00%(30/30),which was higher than 60.00%(18/30)of conventional nursing group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The off-bed time(20.35±1.45)h and hospitalization time(7.54±0.14)d in the rehabilitation nursing group were shorter than(26.66±2.91)h and(10.21±2.55)d in the conventional nursing group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rates in the rehabilitation nursing group was 3.33%(1/30),which was lower than 23.33%(7/30)in the conventional nursing group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients after lung cancer surgery,rehabilitation nursing can effectively improve the lung function and quality of life of patients,accelerate the postoperative recovery of patients,reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
