Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of short-term multiple blue light irradiation on neonatal jaundice.Methods A total of 74 cases of neonatal jaundice were divided into control group and observation group by random numerical table,with 37 cases in each group.Children in the control group received long-term continuous blue light irradiation treatment,and children in the observation group received short-term multiple blue light irradiation treatment.The therapeutic effects,incidence of adverse reactions after treatment,and serum total bilirubin levels before treatment and 48 and 72 h after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.59%,which was higher than 78.38%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment and 48 h after treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in serum total bilirubin levels between the two groups(P>0.05).72 h after treatment,the serum total bilirubin(175.63±20.35)μmol/L of the observation group was significantly lower than(215.36±25.05)μmol/L of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions 5.41%in the observation group was lower than 24.32%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of neonatal jaundice,the use of short-term multiple blue light irradiation therapy can effectively improve the therapeutic effect,and the total serum bilirubin level of the children also decreases rapidly 72 h after treatment,with a low incidence of adverse effects,which is an efficient,reliable and safe phototherapy method and should be promoted and popularized.
