Effect and safety evaluation of laparoscopic ovarian cyst excision in the treatment of ovarian cyst

Objective To investigate the effect and safety evaluation of laparoscopic ovarian cyst excision in the treatment of ovarian cyst.Methods A total of 82 patients with ovarian cysts were randomly selected and numbered 1-82.They were divided into the control group and the experimental group by drawing lots,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional laparotomy,and the experimental group was treated with laparoscopic ovarian cyst excision.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of postoperative pain score,recovery(first exhaust time,off-bed activity time,hospitalization time),complication rate,and ovarian function before and after treatment.Results The pain scores of both groups at 3 d postoperatively were lower than those at 1 d postoperatively,and the pain scores of patients in the experimental group(1.67±0.97)points were lower than(2.63±1.02)points of the control group;all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The first exhaust time(23.21±4.15)h,off-bed activity time(19.34±2.45)h,and hospitalization time(4.34±1.01)d of the experimental group were shorter than(32.34±3.84)h and(25.62±3.02)h,(6.14±1.22)d of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate 2.44%in the experimental group was lower than 14.63%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the operation,the serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels of the two groups were higher than those before the operation,and the estradiol(E₂)level were lower than that before the operation;the FSH and LH of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,and the E₂ was lower that of the control group.All the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of ovarian cysts,laparoscopic ovarian cyst enucleation is less invasive than open surgery,and with less impact on ovarian function,which is conducive to their recovery.It is worthy of reference.
