Abstract: | Medication compliance was assessed by a cross-sectional study of 225 patients, chosen at random from the records of a thrombosis service. The serum phenprocoumon concentration, in relation to the prescribed dose, was found to be unacceptably low in eleven patients. It is concluded that non-compliance occurs only infrequently. Thrombotest values were of little help in detecting non-compliance. |
