肺癌贫血的治疗进展

贫血是肺癌患者常见的临床症状之一,它影响着患者的健康、生活质量,甚至生存时间。应用促红细胞生成素(EPO)是目前治疗癌症及放、化疗相关性贫血的主要方法。根据贫血的分级标准及应用EPO的原则,目前治疗贫血的TIW和QW两种使用方案均有较好疗效,QW方案操作更简便。早期干预治疗贫血,可以预防或减少生活质量的下降。小细胞肺癌和局部晚期非小细胞肺癌患者中,Hb水平是生存率的独立有效预后因素之一,有些研究报道Hb水平提高可改善预后,但纠正贫血对于生存率的确切影响并未明了。Hb水平与患者认知能力之间相互关联性是肯定的,因此应用EPO可以改善患者的认知能力。

Advances in treatment of lung cancer-related anemia

Anemia is one of the most common complaints of lung cancer patients.It affects patients well-being,quality of life(QOL),and survival time.Using epoetin(EPO)has become the major treatment regimen for patients with cancer-,radiotherapy- and chemotherapy-related anemia.According to the classification systems and guidelines of anemia,both of two administration of EPOTIW(150IU/kg),SC,three times weekly)and QW(400,000IU,SC,once weekly)have good curative effects,moreover,QW dosing of EPO may offer additional advantages,such as convenience of administration for healthcare providers and patients.Early intervention for anemia may prevent or attenuate QOL decline.The results of a number of clinical studies showed that hemoglobin(Hb)level was one of the significant independent prognostic factors for survival in patients with SCLC or advanced NSCLC.Other avenues of researches demonstrated the real impact of Hb level on cognitive function in patients with cancer and the use of EPO was attributable of ameliorating this symptom.
