Stathmin蛋白在鼻咽癌中的表达及临床意义

目的探讨Stathmin蛋白在鼻咽癌（NPC）中的表达及其与临床病理之间的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学S-P法检测98例NPC和30例正常鼻咽黏膜上皮组织（NNET）标本中Stathmin蛋白的表达。结果Stathmin在NPC中的表达较NNET上调（P〈0.01）;与高分化和中度分化的NPC比较,原发NPC中Stathmin蛋白在低未分化NPC中的表达明显上调（P〈0.01）,Stathmin在Ⅲ～Ⅳ期NPC病例中的表达较Ⅰ～Ⅱ期病例明显上调,Stathmin表达水平越高,越易复发（P〈0.01）,Stathmin表达与NPC的分化程度、TNM分期及复发相关（P〈0.01）;不同性别、年龄组患者NPC组织中Stathmin蛋白表达无明显差异（P〉0.05）。结论Stathmin在NPC组织中高表达,其高表达与NPC分化、临床分期、进展及复发相关（P〈0.01）,提示Stathmin在NPC发生发展过程中可能起着一定作用,检测Stathmin对NPC的诊断及预后判断均有重要意义。

The Expression of Stathmin Protein in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma and Its Clinical Significance

Objective To detect the expression level of Stathmin protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC） and to evaluate the relationship between the expression of Stathmin protein and the clinical characteristics. Methods The expression of Stathmin protein was investigated by using immunohistoohemical S - P staining method in 98 eases of NPC and 30 cases of normal nasopharyngal epithelial tissue （NNET）. Results Stathmin was signifieantly up - regulated in NPC versus NNET （P 〈 0.01）. Stathmin expression level was correlated with histologie type/grade, primary tumor （T） stage, clinieal stage, and recurrence （P 〈 0.05 or 0. 01 ）. Type In （poorly differentiated） NPC showed a more intense immunoreactivity of Stathmin compared with type Ⅰ and Ⅱ （well - moderately differentiated） NPC. Tumors with Stathmin upregnlation tended to have a more advaneed clinical stage and more frequent recurrences. The expression level of the protein did not eorrelate with the patients＇ age, gender, regional lymph node and distant metastasis. Conclusion The Stathmin is highly expressed in NPC. Stathmin up - regulation was correlated with poor histologie type/grade, advanced clinical stage and recurrence （P 〈0.01 ）, and its dysregnlation might play an important role in the pathogenesis of NPC. Detection of Stathmin is valuable in diagnosis, clinical judgment and prognosis of NPC.
