Some legal and cthical issues on organ transplant in China

AIthough the organ transplant develops comparatively late in our country ,it mekes a great progress and the kidney-transplant has reached the advanced level in the world.But other organs transplants develop slowly.We should study the correlatively legal and ethical issues ,We must lay down the brain-death criteria,give the voluntary contributor the legal protection and prohibit the organ business.Our citizens have deeply affected by the traditional thoughts ,and it is the important factor in the organ transplant .Therefoe,we should set up the newly ethical conception.Voluntary contribution is the first ethic principle in the source of the donor ,and putatively voluntary contribution is complementary.On the problem of acceptor selection ,we should take the medical and social standards into account.Hospitals of every grades need establish the Hospital Ethical Committee(HEC)to solve the ethical problems relating to the organ transplant.
