Nursing on the Treatment of Panel Reactive Antibody for Renal Transplant Recipients by Immune Adsorption Combined with Hemodialysis

Objective To discuss the nursing on the treatment of panel reactive antibody （PRA） for renal transplant recipients by immune adsorption combined with hemodialysis. Methods 6 patients with renal transplant who were high PRA were treated by immune adsorption combined with hemodialysis and given better nursing. To accurately assess the condition of patients be fore the treatment, and to protect the pre-red security in adsorption treatment, monitoring vital signs and choosing correctly the vascular access so as to prevent blood-embolism and bleeding, correctly setting the parameters and the time and paying attention to prevent infection. Results 6 patients with renal transplantation who were high PRA were treated by immune adsorption combined with hemodialysis, one among which didn＇t change significantly in PRA, still positive; for 5 patients PRA antibody reduced as the negative. Conclusion Patients with renal transplantation who were high PRA were treated by immune adsorption combined with hemodialysis. Effective nursing laid the foundation for a successful renal transplant.
