Advances in pharmacological study of Platycodon grandiflorum

It is currently known that Platycodon grandiflorum is antitussive,expectorant,anti-inflammatory,hepatoprotective,anticancer and so on.As a medicinal and edible plant,Platycodon grandiflorum has a broad application prospects.The research of this paper summarizes the pharmacological activity of Platycodon grandiflorum by reviewing the literatures of the research of Platycodon grandiflorum in recent years,making contributuions to the scientific basis for researching and utilization of Platycodon grandiflorum in terms of pharmacology.
