| Abstract: | A case of successful emergency reoperation for mitral valve replacement 2 hours after a cesarean section is reported. The use of aprotinin (Trasylol; Bayer AG, Leverkusen, Germany) greatly simplified the surgical procedure and was in our opinion the most important factor in an uncomplicated outcome. |
