Effect of hemoperfusion combined with hemodialysis treatment on renal osteodystrophy in uremic patients

Objective To observe the effect of hemoperfusion combined with hemodialysis treatment on hemodialysis patients with renal osteodystrophy and the eliminate effect to serum parathyroid hormone. Methods Included 30 cases of hemodialysis patients with renal osteodystrophy . and they were randomly divided into hemoperfusion group( 15 cases) and routine therapy group( 15 cases). Routine group to control Calcium edible and use vitamil D-receptor altivition. On the basis of routine treatment, Hemoperfusion group were given hemoperfusion once a week for six months. Before and after treatment they were monitored parathyroid hormone clinical symptoms. Results After hemoperfusion serum parathyroid hormone was remarkably lower, with cause bone pains loss and whole body skin itch loss. Conclusion Hemoperfusion combined with hemodialysis can quickly alleviate the symptoms of osteodystrophy, it became a new method to treat renal osteodystrophy in uremic patients.
