| Abstract: | Objective To compare the degree of depression and anxiety between maintenance hemodialysis and heart failure patients. Methods 22 hemodialysis patients and 21 heart failure patients used Zung Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale to assess the scores of depression and anxiety, respectively. Results The scores of depression and anxiety of the group of the heart failure patients higher than the group of hemodialysis patients. Conclusion The degree of depression and anxiety of the heart failure patients is more severe than the hemodialysis patients. |
