9例严重急性呼吸综合征死亡病例分析

了解严重急性呼吸综合征死亡患者的危险因素。回顾性分析9例死亡患者的临床资料。6男，3女，大于65岁的6例，平均年龄61．66岁，从发病到死亡平均10．78天。5例患者有基础疾病其中2例为晚期肿瘤，1例糖尿病，1例高血压，1例慢支。8例患者有发热、咳嗽、全身不适，腹泻1例，8例淋巴细胞计数低于正常，5例患者血氧分压在入院时低于60mmHg，死亡前有肝功能异常和血小板降低分别有4例和5例。2例死于恶性肿瘤，3例突然死亡，4例死于呼吸衰竭。因此，年龄大于60岁，伴有基础疾病者死亡率较高；加强基础疾病治疗和护理以及强调卧床休息可能降低死亡率。

Clinical analysis of 9 patients who died of severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)

The risk of 9 patients who died of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) were studied. There were 6 male patients and 3 female patients with mean age of 61.66years in this cohort. 5 patients had coexisting conditions: e.g. malignancy in 2, diabetes mellitus in 1, hypertension in 1 and chronic bronchitis in 1. The most common symptoms included fever, cough and dizziness (in 8 patients). Only 1 patient had diarrhea. Other common findings were lymphopenia in 8 patients (absolute lymphcyte count <1 000/mm 3), thrombocytopenia (platelet count <100 000/mm 3) in 5 patients and serum alanine aminotransferase levels elevated (>45U/L) in 4 patients through the course from admission to death. The partial pressure of blood oxygen was marked depressed. 2 patients were died of malignancy and 4 died of respiratory failure. Sudden death were found in 3 patients. It seems that the age over 60 years and coexisting diseases of the patients were risk factors. Therefore, the treatment and nursing of coexisting disease, as well as the rest in bed are very important for SARS patients.
