| Abstract: | This paper reports the influences of Nao Zhi Ling decoction on the memory of mouse, sufficiency of yang of mouse caused by reserpine and hydrocortisone, hypnotism and spontaneous activities of animals,blood pressure, immune organs (thymus, spleen), anti cold and antifatigue capacities, and tolerance against hypoxia. Nao Zhi Ling could reduce the symptoms of animals of yang insufficency induced by reserpine and hydrocortisone, and reduced the mortality of animals, suggesting that this preparation had the actions of reinforcing kidney and strengthening yang, and it had the actions of enhancing the memory of mouse ( P <0.01),sedation, hypnotism( P <0.01),increasing the weight of immune organs (thymus, spleen) of mouse ( P <0.01),elevating immune function, anti cold( P <0.01),anti fatigue ( P <0.01),and anti hypoxia ( P <0.01),and had hypotensive action. |
