Effect of Medical Insurance Organizations on a Harmonious Physician-Patient Relationship

The present unfavorable condition of physician-patient relation has a directly passive influence on the development of medical service and public health.Besides other various causing and influential factors,disputes about the expense payment and the efficiency of medical service serve as the root of medical disputes.Under the present medical insurance system,medical insurance organizations,which connect both sides of medical personnel and patients,hold a special status,that is,the third side in the physician-patient relation.By analyzing the role of medical insurance organizations in physician-patient relation,this paper gives the effect of medical insurance organizations on physician-patient relation,and puts forward some suggestions to reinforce the functional effect of medical insurance organizations in order to promote the development of a harmonious physician-patient relation.
