| Abstract: | Intramedullary spinal cord metastases (ISCMs) are very rare, but can cause devastating complications from underlying breast cancer. We report the case of a woman with known metastatic breast cancer and progressive neurologic deterioration caused by an ISCM. The epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnostic considerations, and therapeutic options are discussed. |
