The Development of a Network Monitoring the Hygiene and Safety of Drinking Water in Sichuan Deyang

To analyze the hygienic circumstance of drinking water in Deyang city,a monitoring network for continuously observing the water quality was set up by Deyang Center for Disease Control and Prevention.The geographic information monitoring system organized and developed by the Center was to promote information sharing.The general functions of the system include online data reporting,statistic analysis and automatic data summarizing.The unique feature of the system was the map navigation and generating a map of water quality distribution.
