Pharmaceutical Care for Children with Steroid-Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome by Pediatric Clinical Pharmacists

Objective: To explore the role of pediatric clinical pharmacists in the treatment of children with steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome. Methods: Clinical pharmacists provided pharmaceutical care for children with steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome from the selection and use of calcium and vitamin D, and the rational use of commonly used therapeutic drugs. Results: Pharmaceutical care provided by clinical pharmacists can improve the rationality of clinical drug use in children with steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome, maximize the effectiveness of drugs and reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions. Conclusion: Clinical pharmacists can make full use of their own professional advantages to carry out various forms of pharmaceutical care and play an important role in the treatment of children with steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome.
