摘    要:2010年的美国糖尿病协会(ADA)年会上,Martin G Myers教授获得杰出科学成就奖.会上Myers教授作了题为"剖析瘦素:从信号通路到信号环路"的演讲.瘦素信号通过脑部细胞调节糖代谢、能量平衡和神经内分泌功能.现对其系统研究的结果作一综述,包括:(1)瘦素受体信号转导的细胞机制及其对能量平衡与糖代谢稳态的作用是什么.(2)瘦素作用于脑的哪种神经元细胞来发挥以上作用.

Abstract:Professor Martin G Myers, MD, PhD, received the prestigious Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award at the American Diabetes Association's 70th scientific sessions in 2010. In the meeting, professor Myers gave the lecture: Deconstructing leptin--from signals to circuits. Leptin signals regulate glycemic control, energy balance and neuroendocrine function through brain cells. This paper is a review of his work, including: (1) What are the cellular mechanisms of leptin receptor (LepRb) signaling, and what is their role in energy bance and glucose homeostasis? (2) What neurons does leptin act on in the brain to control these things?
