秃病蚤指名亚种鼠疫感染实验

本实验以长尾黄鼠体分离的强毒鼠疫菌接种小白鼠,实现了对秃病蚤指名亚种(Nosopsyllus laeviceps laeviceps)的鼠疫感染。其感染率,雌性为95％,雄性为98％;其菌栓率,雌性为32.8％,雄性为2.8％。雌、雄性感染率之间无显著差异(P>0.25),菌栓率则有十分显著的差异(P<0.01)。 本实验表明了天山西段B型鼠疫菌对该蚤种的高度寄生适应能力。从而提示我们,在灰早獭—长尾黄鼠鼠疫疫源地中,长尾黄鼠与砂土鼠分布区可能相连的地段,有实现向砂土鼠分布区扩散鼠疫,乃至形成新的疫源地的可能,应当采取措施,防患于未燃。

AN EXPERIMENTAL INFECTION OF THE FLEA N.LAEVICEPS LAEVICEPS WITH Y PESTIS

By feeding them with blood of mice infected with virulent Y. pesfis iso-lated from C. undulatus, infection of the fleas Nosopsyllus laeviceps laeviceps was achieved with infection rates of 95%, 98%,blockage rates of 32.8%, 2.8% for female and male fleas respectively, showing significant dif ference(P<0.01) in the blockage rates between female and male fleas while in infection rates no difference (P>0.25) existed between both sexes.The successful infection confirmed the adaptive capacity of type B Y.pes-tis from western Tianshan,suggesting that new plague foci may be formed when the bacilli be introduced to gerbijs from Marmota baibacina and Citellus undulatus inhabited areas. This suggestion should be taken into consideration in the prevention of plague.
