A case of glioblastoma combined with Tumor Treating Fields

Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary malignant tumor in adults. It is the most malignant among astrocytic tumors. Surgery combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy is the standard treatment for GBM. Due to its invasiveness, the tumor cannot be completely removed, and glioblastoma is prone to relapse and has a poor prognosis. Therefore, we need to seek more effective treatment methods. Among them, Tumor Treating Fields(TTFields) combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy significantly prolongs the glial Survival time of blastoma. This article reports a case of GBM patient who underwent regular radiotherapy and chemotherapy and concurrent TTFields treatment after surgical resection of the tumor. The prognosis of the patient is good, and there is no tumor recurrence in the postoperative MRI.
