| Abstract: | There is presently the ubiquity ot contusion tor traditional Chinese medicines＇ names. One medicine could have several names and several medicines could also share one name sometimes. It has caused clinical practices and scientific research much inconvenience. Starting with the origin of traditional Chinese medicine＇s byname, the article discourses comprehensively on nomenclative basis of bynames, and meanwhile it also appeals doctors and researchers to use names which meet the state pharmacopoeia or ministry standard. |
