Work-up and treatment planning for head and neck cancer. A multi-modality approach

The work-up of any patient with cancer in the head and neck area reveals that each is unique. Treatment planning must respect this. A "team" that embodies the attributes of such a group is necessary to uncover the multitude of facts, to formulate a plan of management, and to carry out treatment successfully.
