Abstract:Objective To study and analyze the application effect of case-based learning(CBL)method in teaching of laboratory diagnostics in clinical medicine specialty of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods Totally 251 Chinese and western medicine clinical undergraduates of grade 2015 or 2016 in our hospital were selected as the research objects,and divided into experimental group(126 cases)and control group(125 cases),respectively.That is,in the teaching of laboratory diagnosis,the CBL method was adopted in the experimental group while the control group received the traditional teaching method.After the end of the course,the mastery of knowledge and satisfaction of teaching were collected and compared between the two groups by the examination and questionnaire survey in order to study the effectiveness of diagnostics teaching reform.The data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0.Results The average scores of the students in final examination in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).In addition,the satisfaction rate in terms of learning interest,team spirit,literature retrieval ability,knowledge understanding and memory of the students in the experimental group were higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of CBL method could achieve better teaching effect in teaching of laboratory diagnostics in clinical medicine specialty of traditional Chinese and western medicine,which was helpful for the training of correct clinical thinking mode of medical students.
