Abstract: | Thematic meeting is an original activity instituted at a psychiatric service. Issue from district's politic and institutional psychotherapy, those collective activities are one of the instruments of the therapeutic set up. Yearly programmed, those interactive accounts about clinical developments are reserved for professional of all the service units. Working on its identity, those assemblies are founded on the acknowledge of collective elaboration and meetings efficiency to take care together, for quality and continuity of the cure. The “take-care together” makes work psychic and collective process in a common realization: coaching at many, when most of the people we welcome have a diagnosis of psychose. This work needs clinical skills and also cooperation between the service members to perform a common therapeutic project. Thematic meetings have an institutional, mustered team and mental functions, and help the service cohesion. Those functions contribute to contain actions of splitting, denial, rejection which stake off psychotic and team process. Those meetings form an envelop favourable for creativity and collective realization needed for care in psychiatry. This descriptive approach gives an illustration of the psychiatric clinical specificity as a collective practice and as a multidisciplinary meeting. |
