Clinical Observation on Eye Acupuncture Combined with Bloodletting and Cupping in the Treatment of Frozen Shoulder

Objective To observe the clinical effect of eye acupuncture combined with bloodletting and cupping on the treatment of frozen shoulder. Methods Two hundred cases of frozen shoulder patients were randomly divided into test group and control group. patients in the test group were treated with eye acupuncture combined with bloodletting and cupping,and patients in the control group were treated with traditional body acupuncture. Both groups were treated every other day,two weeks is a course of treatment,continuous treatment for two courses. All patients were scored for shoulder pain and joint function before and after treatment,and the clinical effect was compared. Result The effect of shoulder pain relief and joint function recovery in the test group was significantly better than that in the control group( P <0. 01). In the test group,56 cases were clinically cured,24 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective,and 3 cases were lost. The cure rate was 82. 5%. In the control group,24 cases were clinically cured,28 cases were markedly effective,26 cases were effective,18 cases were ineffective,4 cases were lost,and the cure rate was 54. 2%. Comparison of the two groups has clinical significance( P < 0. 01),the therapeutic effect of the test group was better than that of the control group. Conclusion Eye acupuncture combined with bloodletting and cupping is effective in treating frozen shoulder,and it is worthy of promotion.
