Clinical Effect of Lumbar Interbody Fusion through Intervertebral Foramen Approach in the Treatment of Isthmic Spondylolisthesis

Objective To explore the clinical effect of lumbar interbody fusion through intervertebral foramen approach in the treatment of isthmic spondylolisthesis.Methods 82 patients with isthmic spondylolisthesis admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to June 2020 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 41 cases in each group.The observation group received lumbar interbody fusion through intervertebral foramen approach,and the control group received traditional posterior open vertebral fusion.The related indicators of surgical treatment,JOA score,VAS score,ODI score,incidence of complications and residual rate of low back pain were compared between the two groups.Results The related indicators of surgical treatment in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).6 months after operation,the JOA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the VAS and ODI scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).The residual rate of low back pain in the observation group was 4.88%,lower than 21.95%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Lumbar interbody fusion through intervertebral foramen approach in the treatment of isthmic spondylolisthesis can improve the related indicators of surgical treatment and the JOA,VAS and ODI scores,reduce the residual rate of low back pain and do not increase the complications,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
