Acupotomy Combined with Chaihu Longgu Muli Decoction in the Treatment of Refractory Lower Extremity Ulcer

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of acupotomy combined with Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction in the treatment of refractory lower extremity ulcer based on eliminating blood stasis and promoting tissue regeneration theory and the purgation method. Methods The clinical experience of acupotomy combined with Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction in the treatment of refractory lower extremity ulcer was summarized,and the clinical treatment of refractory lower extremity ulcer combined with the basic pathological process was and further explored. Results It is clinically significant that acupotomy combined with Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction is applied in the treatment of refractory lower extremity ulcer. Conclusion The refractory lower extremity ulcer is characterized by dampness-heat stasis toxin and internal obstruction of meridians,flesh rot and blood failure,carcarpus and abscess,wound not healing for a long time. The clinical external acupotomy is used to prick bleeding at the affected area,remove stasis and generate new blood,improve microcirculation,promote muscle generation and treat its mark. Internal administration of Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction to remove all pathophysiological end products of metabolism,dispel the dampness and heat stasis poison in the body and cure its origin,simultaneous treatment of principal and subordinate symptoms. The author’s clinical practice also shows that acupotomy combined with Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction can effectively treat a variety of refractory lower extremity ulcers,which can provide theoretical guidance for clinical doctors to diagnose the disease,and is worth promoting clinically.
