Clinical observation of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease

Objective To explore the curative effect of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction on coronary heart disease. Methods 100 patients in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group. The patients in the control group were treated with aspirin,100 mg/time,1 time/D;clopidogrel bisulfate,75 mg/time,1 time/D;atorvastatin,20 mg/time,1 time/D. The patients in the observation group were treated with Xuefu Zhuyu decoction on the basis of the control group,one dose a day. The traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) syndrome score,cardiac function index and serum LDL-C,s ICAM-1 and LDH levels were recorded before and after treatment. Results No adverse reactions occurred in all patients. After treatment,TCM syndrome score,cardiac function index and serum LDL-C,s ICAM-1 and LDH levels of the two groups were significantly better than those before treatment. Compared with the control group,TCM syndrome score,cardiac function index and serum LDL-C,s ICAM-1 and LDH levels of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group. Conclusion Modified Xuefu Zhuyu decoction is effective and safe in the treatment of coronary heart disease.
