| Abstract: | Atrial fibrillation can cause thromboembolism and even stroke.In most patients with atrial fibrillation,thrombus is mainly formed in the left atrial appendage.Left atrial appendage occlusion(LAAO)uses interventional occlusion of the left atrial appendage to prevent thromboembolism instead of long-term oral anticoagulants,and its safety and effectiveness have been proved by numerous clinical studies.Antithrombotic therapy after LAAO is critical to the patient’s recovery and reducing the occurrence of adverse reactions.The current antithrombotic treatment strategies after LAAO mainly include anticoagulation followed by antiplatelet combination therapy,dual antiplatelet therapy,monoclonal antibody platelet therapy,and oral anticoagulation therapy.However,there is still no unified standard for postoperative antithrombotic therapy strategies.It is necessary to choose an individualized anticoagulation regimen according to whether the patient has contraindications to oral anticoagulants,and the risk of bleeding. |
