Effect of quality control circle on the incidence of exit infection in peritoneal dialysis patients

Objective:To investigate the effect of the quality control circle (QCC)method in reducing the incidence of infection at the exit of patients with peritoneal dialysis.Methods:A QCC group was established to determine the theme of " reducing the incidence of infection at the exit of patients with peritoneal dialysis" , to formulate an activity plan, through brainstorming, fishbone diagram analysis, find the true cause, formulate countermeasures, implement countermeasures, and carry out continuous quality improvement according to procedures.Results:The incidence of infection at the exit of patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis after QCC was reduced from 20.17% to 6.30%.Conclusions:The implementation of various tasks in the QCC has effectively reduced the incidence of infection at the exit of peritoneal dialysis patients and improved the quality of dialysis.
