Abstract:Objective To investigate the influence of evidence-based medicine(EBM)course on knowledge,attitude and behavior of postgraduates and doctoral students.Methods 188 postgraduates who took EBM course in the first academic year of 2018-2019 in a university were selected as the participants.A Questionnaire survey was conducted to compare the students'knowledge,attitude and behavior for medical postgraduates before and after course.ResultsAfter the course,the students'understanding of the basic concepts of EBM was significantly improved(P<0.001).Students'abilities of literature retrieval,literature quality evaluation,data acquisition,and interpretation of statistical results were significantly improved compared with those before the course(P<0.05),and the average number of literature retrieval per day was also significantly increased(χ2=9.728,P<0.05).In addition,there was no significant differe-nce in the recognition of EBM information before and after the course(P>0.05).Conclusion The knowledge and behavior of postgraduates have been significantly improved before and after EBM course,and the teaching effect of this course is remarkable.In the future,it is necessary to further evaluate and reform the teaching methods of the course,to continuously improve the cognition and ability of medical postgraduates to EBM.
