老年人根管治疗临床疗效评价

目的：观察老年患者根管治疗的效果。方法：对178颗老年患牙进行常规根管治疗，2年后进行复查，并以同期治疗的200颗同类青年患牙作对照，采用文献根管治疗疗效标准评定X线片并结合临床检奁，对根管治疗疗效进行评价。结果：老年组与青年组根管治疗疗效在不同病种、不同牙位、不同性别差异均无显著性（P〉0．05），老年患者根管治疗有效率86．5％。结论：对老年患牙也可行常规根管治疗，且有效率高，应作为老年牙髓病患牙的首选治疗方法。

Assessment on clinical curative effects of root canal therapy in elder patients

Objective:To study the curative effects of root canal therapy in elderly people. Methods:178 teeth from elderly and 200 teeth from young patients were examined which had received root canal therapy over 2 years.The curative effects were evaluated with radiographic assessment of root canal therapy by the criteria from publications and with clinical examinations. Results:The curative effects had no statistically significant difference between the two groups in different pathological type, different teeth and gender(P>0.05).The successful rate of root canal therapy in elder people was 86.5%. Conclusion:The routine root canal therapy can also be used to treat elder patients' teeth and the curative effects is satisfying. It should be recommended to cure pulpitis and periapical periodontitis in elder patients.
